I like the advisors I work for. Everyone is super nice and more than happy to help you out or teach you what they know. Additionally, I like how great Altfest is about getting interns involved in company-wide meetings, fund manager meetings and client meetings.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more diversity in tasks. Most of the job requires running client books for clients' annual meetings. There aren't many applicable skills that goes into it.
Advice
For anyone going into this internship, I would say to make yourself known to every advisor because each advisor has different clients, different skills sets and are more likely to offer you unique tasks to your workload.
