What I liked

I liked how I was able to interact with all employees in various departments. I was able to learn a lot of different aspects of office life and get insight into what it will be like to be in the real working world. I felt a connection to each employee I worked with and all made me feel very welcomed.

What I wish was different

I wish I had gotten to be in person more, but that isn't on the company. It was just the nature of business during the summer of 2021. I did have the opportunity to visit the office when I returned to Baltimore for move-in which was a great experience, and I am so glad they offered it to me.

I piece of advice I would share about this experience is it is important to have great self-management skills. Whether you are balancing your time or workload it is essential to have the ability to be organized and prepared. Because this company works directly with the government, passing new laws and policies about health care, things move quickly. You have to be prepared for anything!
