What I liked

I got to watch humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, seals, and sea lions all summer! I also learned a lot about them to share with our guests. My captain and deckhand also taught me about the engines on the boat, so I really got to learn a lot of interesting and practical things.

What I wish was different

I wish I had driven a car up there. Transportation in Juneau can be difficult. Also the schedule was crazy, but that is the nature of catering to cruise ships.

Advice

Go with a friend, and expect to work a lot and make good money :)
