I wish I had been working with more interns on a day to day basis. Most of the interns were based at a different location.
Advice
Learn from the experience, even if it's not what you want to continue with.

Zone Engineering Intern
June - August 2017 • Concord, CA
What I liked
Wonderful boss who did a really good job making sure I had projects that developed me as an engineer. Put me in contact with other engineers and gave me the resources to succeed in my internship.
What I wish was different
They were not flexible at first with leaving early for O-Week. However, they were very flexible once the presentations were scheduled, and let me leave for O-Week with one week's notice.
Advice
Manage your boss's time well. Work until you get stuck on a project, then switch projects until you hit another roadblock. When you can't move forward anymore and you have already Googled/asked other surrounding engineers -- then ask your boss.
