Located just miles from the sugar-white sands of Destin, FL, Eglin Air Force Base is the focal point for development, acquisition, testing, deployment and sustainment of all air-delivered non-nuclear weapons used by the US Air Force in support of national security. Maintaining the leading edge in today’s technology-intensive environment demands a dynamic, creative and innovative workforce of civilian scientists and engineers to equip our nation's warfighter with war-winning capabilities.
The US Air Force offers unmatched opportunities for students and recent graduates to join Eglin's civilian science and engineering workforce. The Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) introduces students to Eglin's missions through a paid summer internship, with the option of converting into a PALACE Acquire (PAQ) intern upon graduation. The elite PAQ program, which is also open to upcoming and recent graduates, provides scientists and engineers a well-planned, multi-year development and training program along with a signing bonus, a relocation to the local area, student loan repayments, and one full year of paid graduate studies while still earning full salary and benefits.
