The consultants I worked with were very helpful and patient in teaching the techniques needed to be an excellent potato scout. I personally enjoyed learning about the potato industry and had the opportunity to gain real experience in the agricultural industry in the process.
What I wish was different
The management of schedules and field locations per day/week could have been better, but I understand that many factors are at play with agriculture.
Advice
Working in potato fields is sometimes hard work, but as long as you are prepared for the day it can be a very rewarding experience.
