Helped facilitate the processing, transfer, and analysis of COVID-19 samples during the pandemic. Was able to work under the supervision of a laboratory technician when handling specimen and processing their results.

I loved the job, and wouldn’t have changed anything about it.
Advice
It’s okay to explore new areas and be uncomfortable. Putting yourself outside of your comfort zone will open new doors to opportunities that may be meant for you!

The job was lots of fun, I was trained well, and the bosses were very understanding and personable.

The job itself didn't seem to be inclusive of women or people of color.
