I loved the people and the atmosphere. I loved the location of the office. The industry was also very cool and rewarding.
What I wish was different
I wish there would have been a more formal internship program in place.
Advice
Network, network, network. Always give 110% in everything you work on.

What I liked
This internship was awesome! It was clear that AECOM wanted me to learn as much as I can. I went out in the field to learn about the sites that we were working on and had a variety of tasks that ranged from ME tasks to pipe flow and other CE tasks.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would've been a little more outspoken about trying to help people at my internship. When I get work to do, I usually just work on that for however long I need to and seldom think about asking for more work from other coworkers or even just talking to them.
Advice
I learned so much throughout this internship, but you have to be willing to learn and know that you are inexperienced. You have to ask questions, no matter how annoying you think you are being with questions, it's much better to ask questions than to do something incorrectly.

Advice
I would advise you to ask questions when you are unsure about something and never be afraid to try new things.
