The working community was very welcoming and a joy to be around. The scientists were knowledgeable and happy to teach and discuss what they were working on and more with the interns. Due to the small nature of the start-up, I was able to work closely with the head scientists and learn many valuable techniques and skills.

Ask as many questions as possible, especially about their experience working in their fields as a whole and their career paths.

What I liked
-The working environment was welcoming and very encouraging

-As I learned I was given more independence to help with things around the lab
