What I liked

The pay and the people I directly worked with.

What I wish was different

That management understood that if you want production numbers to go and for parts to pass quality control consistently, you have to fix/replace equipment that is clearly broken and borderline unsafe. This also goes for efficiency. When working with the Amada RG50 machine, it was constantly overheating and the pump would fail due to a leak that was never fixed no matter how many work orders were placed. Maintenance would come and, essentially, put a band-aid on it, but the problem would persist. Half of the punch and dies that went to the machines were either broken, warped, or didn't even exist. It was a constant fight with the 3rd shift as well as they would constantly put us behind schedule with no reprimands being followed through, which forced us to work overtime throughout the summer. This is not just the case for the summer of 2020, but also the summer of 2019.

Advice

I do not recommend it unless you have no other options.
