The people were amazing and Accenture works with cutting-edge technology and the work is often relevant to everyday things.
What I wish was different
As Accenture does so many things, I was put on a team that was doing work that I wasn't really interested in. I wish there was a different matching process for projects for the summer.
Advice
Network! People are really ready to speak to summer analysts even if you cold message them asking for a 1:1. It was great to hear from so many people across the company.

I wish it hadn't been virtual, but due to the global climate I understand why it had to be virtual.

Advice
Focus on soft skills and build a github portfolio to look at. Also, join some sort of hackathon, something for you to put on your resume. And take CS/SWE 321 and use the project on your resume.

The community and co-workers were very friendly and hard-working. Answer majority of questions when asked. Great communication among all employees.
What I wish was different
Although majority of projects were great, the inventory system was slightly a drag conflicting with daily day-to-day operations.
Advice
Always have a "can-do" attitude. Engage in all projects within your department. Really work hard to get the task done right the first time.
