What I liked

I got to work hands-on with the kids and got to stay in one classroom so I really have gotten to know each kid and make relationships with them.

What I wish was different

I wish I had gotten more experience in working one-on-one with kids with special needs because that’s really what my goal of this internship was.

Advice

Make the most of it and advocate for yourself and your needs. In the end it’s what you make it.
