Lots of freedom, could work on programs independently with lots of support when needed. Lots of learning about other careers offered on base. Being on tests with heavy weapons.
What I wish was different
More collaboration between interns.
Advice
Network with other interns, setup times to have lunch together. Try the korean restaurant off-base near ollies, its really good. Learn about the divisions of ATC before you start, ask to be assigned to the one that fits your interests. Look into C6 which is also on base and offers internships. Speak up if you want to see a test or work on a project.
