What I liked

The people I worked with were dedicated to helping me learn, but also trusted my abilities. I was given a wide range of responsibilities which was most helpful to my personal and professional development.

What I wish was different

I wish the day to day work routine involved less sitting and working on a computer (that wore on me a lot). However, I've been told to expect this type of work in entry-level architecture jobs.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask for work and speak up in an office. Sure, there are plenty of experienced people with ideas willing to let yours slide, but you will stand out if you involve yourself in their work nonetheless. Consider yourself VALUABLE to the company you work for because, if you take yourself seriously, they definitely will too.
