What I liked

I like how I am able to get a glimpse of what it’s like in the business world. It’s refreshing to be given more responsibility and harder tasks than a typical entry level job.

What I wish was different

There is not much that I would change about my internship. The only thing I wish I could change is to be given more challenging work. When I graduate I want to know what to expect, which will not be what interns do. I understand that intern work is a great base to start at, but I think it would be very beneficial to be given a project once in a while that full-time employees are given. That why I can have a more well rounded idea of life after college.

Advice

I think my biggest piece of advise is to find as many internships as possible! I am a marketing major, but I am currently an accounting intern. I think that it is important to discover and learn all types of jobs in the business world in order to succeed. I have learned many skills from my accounting internship that I can carry with me into marketing. Staying open minded will help you in the long run!
