Got the chance to really do hands-on tasks, such as draping, patterning, embellishment. Also flat-drawing skills got practice. Everything learned in class got the chance to use in a professional setting.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more advanced flat drawing skills or got more practiced in class so that it would be easier to complete CAD tasks.
Advice
I hope I could be more proactive in asking for tasks.

I really liked the small work environment, it’s very welcoming and helped aid my learning.

I wish there had been less interns so I could’ve done more individual work.
Advice
I would advise anyone taking an internship to not be afraid to ask questions or afraid to be wrong. Everyone is learning and no one is expected to know how to do what is being asked, so acknowledge your mistakes and learn from them!
