Founded in 1898 by Roswell Park, MD, Roswell Park Cancer Institute was the first institution in the nation dedicated to a comprehensive, laboratory-based approach to the understanding and treatment of cancer. Today RPCI helps set the national standard for cancer care as one of 19 members of the prestigious National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). Our mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
