Former Network Operations Control Intern at Southwest Airlines

If you have any aviation experience, certainly talk about that. While this role is not directly involved with flight operations, they'd like you to know things like how to read NOTAMs and METARs or other basic aviation terminology. Also mention your role in any projects you did at school because as an intern on this team you'll participate in projects and some project experience would be beneficial. Finally, don't forget to mention some of the basic skills like Microsoft Office, maybe give an example of how you've used these programs to get work done. Of course, do your research on the company, any company likes to hear that you are knowledgeable about the job and the company culture overall.

The main points you should highlight in the interview are your past experiences working on a team either in an internship or group project as well as any recent leadership experience. They really like well-rounded candidates so talk about your extracurriculars as well as academics. While discussing your relevant technical skills is good, such as work in Data Analytics or Data Visualization, talking about your work ethic and personality will help them gauge how you can handle projects.
