While interviewing there, be prepared to give both short- and long-format talks or presentations, depending your department. I was in Biology to teach intro bio labs and only required to give a short-talk. One important thing is to make sure you can link conceptual concepts with very real-world, applicable things, which is true for any department at Barnard. Being able to bring your concepts to an average person (i.e. "How many heartbeats does it take for your blood to move through your entire body?" or "What ordinary, everyday objects that we take for granted were influenced by Renaissance art?") will take you a long way.
