Former Technical Solution Specialist - Summit Internship Program at IBM
over 1 year ago
This really depends based on who your manager is. The summit program has a lot of educational opportunities, so most days involve either a virtual or in person lesson on some IBM technology. You attend strategy meetings on client relationships with your manager. Some people do prospecting daily, which means finding new clients, and “cold emailing” them— this depends whether you’re assigned to a specific technology, like cloud, or a specific integrated account in which case you’re not going to be trying to find new clients. Those assigned to an integrated account spend time doing market research for their client’s sector and helping the team prepare for sales pitches.
