It can be calm or crazy. A typical day starts off with a group at 9:30 that lasts about 45 minutes, then a group at 10:30 that lasts about an hour, then some time for notes. Then you see individual patients (but at any time you could be alerted of a vigil and will be needed there while the patient is actively dying). You set your own hours, so you decide when you want your groups to be and what you want to do with the rest of your time.
