Former Broomball Referee at Michigan Technological University
about 2 years ago
Do you best to get familiar with the sport and culture associated with it. I knew nothing about broomball going into it which made it hard to answer some of the questions well pertaining to why I wanted the position. Prepare for it like you would any other interview-anticipate questions they may ask such as why you want the job, why you'd be a good fit and what skills you have that'd allow you to succeed. You need to be confident and vocal as a ref so think of examples of past experience pertaining to that.
