Former Lecturer in Fundamentals of Music at Loyola Marymount University

This class is often structured on a M/W/F schedule, with 50 minutes per class period. I would often hold office hours before class, in case a student had a question about the assignment they would be turning in. In class we would cover a unit, such as "major chords" or "minor scales," in which I would lecture for a bit, and then we would do some group board work to create the chord or scale discussed. I would also encourage students to download piano keyboard apps on their phones so they could use that in addition to staff paper as a resource.
