Licensed Nursing Assistant at Dartmouth-Hitchcock

You need to have completed an LNA program in NH, and you need to pass the state test. However, this really isn't enough. You need GREAT, not good, interpersonal skills. You need to be a very good communicator. You need to care. You need to be willing to keep trying to do your best, even if you have a bad day. You need to accept that some days will be extremely hard, and that you did your best and you need to let it go. You need to have a positive, helpful attitude. You need to have a good poker face! These are things you will be continuously working on your whole career, but you need to be willing to develop these skills.
