In terms of interviewing for a role within Audit, the things I would focus on are being able to work on a collaborative project with tight deadline, and again show that you can solve problems. Each project usually lasts 3 months and has a number of detailed checkpoints along the way that require deliverables to be turned in that mainly necessitate someone in my role working with a people both within Audit and externally either from PwC or from our business partners. If you can show that you are able to communicate effectively and deliver results on time your interview will go great.
From an administrative standpoint if you are an undergraduate at Wake Forest the best route would be to apply to the Corporate Audit Analyst Program (CAAP) that the company has. This is a two year program where you have the opportunity to rotate across multiple lines of business within the company while learning the basic Audit skills needed. After you finish the program is when promotion decisions to Senior Auditor are made, unless you have some experience they do not hire to the Senior Auditor position unfortunately.
