Composition and Seminar Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
over 2 years ago
Life as an Adjunct Professor is tiring, but also rewarding because of the progress I get to see with my students. This semester I am teaching 6 courses -- I teach three back-to-back on TR and three on MWF, with an hour break between two of the classes. I also attend A&P lecture on MW for my Seminar students, and fit in office hours before and after classes. I also work part-time at the Writing Center, which keeps my mornings busy. When I go home, I'm going through emails, grading, and making lesson plans for the future weeks. Teaching is a lifestyle, not a hobby or day job.
