Lots of phone calls, your conversational skills via phone have to be on point (it gets a bit intimidating/discouraging when you’re cold calling up to 70 people a day). Your goal is to book sets (free pt consultations) with potential clients. During these your goal is to sign a member to a trainer. When you’re not cold calling or training you are walking the floor, meeting members, helping with form, picking up towels/weights. You also are to serve as a line of communication between clients and trainers.
its appointment based, so you will only be paid for when you have sessions, and some days might be difficult because you might have 5 sessions each a half an hour apart. But my team was great! it heavily depends on what gym you will be training at.
Training clients one on one, or the occasional group class. Your other time will be occupied by making workout programs and other things revolving around your client. Some sales will be mixed in as well.
