Former Diabetes Sales Intern at Eli Lilly and Company
almost 2 years ago
For me I did not know I would be dealing with diabetes medication. I think your question would be how do you prepare for an interview with a pharma company.
For Eli Lilly the interview process was through a campus recruiter. They came to the the campus wide career fair and we more interested in who I was. They want you to approach them.
You should definitely know your resume inside and out, they will definitely ask you about all your experience. They will ask you situational questions on how well you can problem solve. They also want to see that you are able to breakdown and use data that is given. Have past examples that you can explain effortlessly and ready for when they ask.
They want to see that you can sell yourself. Pharmaceutical sales is selling a yourself, a product, being like-able/ personable as well as analytical.
