It could really depend on the day and the hours you were working! Sometimes you'd spend all your time working with statistics - entering data in an online survey tool (Survey Monkey), compiling it in MS Excel, creating graphs and charts to express it, and then ultimately putting all of this information into a formal report in MS Word. But another day you might be helping out at one of the Health Commons locations, for a walk-in clinic or a nutrition class. I was a Water Safety Instructor at the time, so I did an extra shift on Friday nights where I got to teach swim lessons to Somali immigrant women & girls - easily the most fun and fulfilling part of my job!
