You are supposed to be very good at time management because you will need it. There are times when you will have to stay a little longer than expected, there are times you will have to do a double shift, your schedule will fluctuate a lot,so yes you wont be expecting a lot of balance unless your account manager decides to help you out and give you a set schedule

I think it's pretty balanced. This all depends though weather you take a full time or part time position. This also changes if you are a supervisor. You would have to work 40 hours a week for a supervisor position (at my site anyway).

This really depend on the shift you choose to work. I work graves (midnight to 8 am), there are also swing shifts and day shifts. As the grave shift, I work during the night and sleep during the day, however, as long as I go to bed when I get home it’s like I just got off a regular work schedule when I wake up. Overtime is optional, so it’s a regular work week unless you take an extra shift.
