They are going to put you to work, but it is well worth it. The internship is 10 weeks long, and interns generally have 3-4 rotations: some are three weeks long, some are only a week. Either way, you have an opportunity to see many unique areas of the hospital, so I would recommend getting a wide variety because you're going to learn so much. You will work one-on-one with pharmacists, but you will also be exposed to interprofessional rounds. You will also be available to help answer drug-related questions, interview patients on admission for med reconciliations, and perform discharge consults too.
