It depends where you are a Secretary. I work at the District Office so for me, I greet everyone who comes into the Staff Development Center. I direct staff and the public to the appropriate conference rooms for their meetings and help them with technology (getting the projector set up). I schedule meetings. I back up the District Receptionist for her lunch and close at the end of the day. In that capacity, I answer the main phone line into the District and greet and direct staff and the public to the appropriate areas. I work with our District Psychologist and keep track of the personnel on our Trauma Response Team.
