Former Mental Health Paraprofessional at Perspectives Behavioral Health Management

The atmosphere has changed alot due to recent medicaid changes. I was a former MHPP in day treatments for predominately Adolescent and children. This area is not running the same. I will focus on day treatment settings for adults in the residential facilities. Typical day is usually scheduled out for you with seeing clients assigned by a program manager. Typical interventions are between 30 mins and 1 hour. During this time you work off of the treatment plan created from the Therapist with the objectives addressed to MHPP. These interventions consists alot with social and communication skills and personal hygiene.
