I'm glad you asked. Almost all of the music therapists see clients 1:1 and very few lead groups throughout the week. Though, some music therapist may lead a bell choir or a monthly drum circle. Meaningful Day Services offers in-home services as well as in-office sessions. Thus, depending on how far you are from an office, you may only see your clients throughout the week. For example, if you're far from an office, you may see 24 clients throughout the week, all 1:1, and all in-home and never necessarily have to go to the office. Thus, having an efficient car that can fit a lot of instruments would be highly recommended. They try to only assign clients near your area so you don't have to go too far out of your way, and as you get clients, you usually have the ability to schedule them back-to-back or add in breaks. I'd say day-to-day, you're pretty independent.
