Former Musician and Musical Instrument Repairman at United States Marine Corps
over 1 year ago
The only interview involves talking with the local Marine Corps recruiter to fill out paperwork to include a background check. All applicants to the Unites States Military must pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) to determine which job fields the applicant(s) are qualified for. To be a Marine Corps musician, you'll need to pass an audition (set up by the recruiter). Musical Instrument Repairmen are chosen from within the members of the Marine Corps Field Band program. Applicants must reach a certain rank, have had training from a current USMC Instrument Repairman, and be recommended by their Officer in Charge.
