Former Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services (FIDS) Intern at EL LLP
over 2 years ago
Based on my interview I would say you have to show interest in fraud investigation. Know what you’re talking about. Read about fraud investigation before your interview. EY FIDS run blogs on forensics, they publish global fraud surveys. Go through their publications. Be prepared to give examples of known fraud cases. They do not expect you to have any experience in the area when you’re applying for an internship, but they are expecting you to show why you want to work in fraud investigation. Also, you do not have to have accounting education. My team included people after law, IT, business, finance etc.
