It is preferrable to have experience as a licensed physical therapist before applying to this position rather than being a new grad. MTI does not offer internships to students. You would need to have your physical therapy degree, internships, license and experience working at least a year in the physical therapy realm as a therapist first. The more experience you have, the better you will be prepared. Cases at MTI can sometimes get very complicated. There were for example, multiple patients that had multiple diagnoses and comorbidities. Especially complicated were those that had been in motor vehicle accidents and had multiple body parts involved. These cases can be especially difficult to handle not only from a clinical standpoint but also from an insurance standpoint.
