My team was pretty flexible so I was able to come in at 9 on most days. Typically, I would be at my desk in the morning for about 15 minutes before receiving any instructions from my associate. In this time, I checked and replied to emails, did some research on our client, did research on the regulation that we were dealing with, and reviewed any documents that had been added to the shared Google Drive. Then, I would receive instructions on my work for the day from my associate. This varied, but typically I would work on that for the bulk of the day. After lunch, I would usually touch base with my team and tell them about my progress. From there, they'd either give me things to change, tell me to just keep going, or assign me something new as needed. Towards the end of the day, I would sit in on team meetings that updated us on the status of the project. I'd wrap up work and get out typically at around 5:30.
