It's outstanding. The training is incredible. They have sales down to a science. Other insurance companies actually try to poach Geico agents. Once you've been trained and have some experience at Geico, not only is it looked upon highly in your resume, but you'll have excellent conversational and professional skills.
Some notes, umbrella Department really doesn't hire externally for the most part. It's a really difficult and very interesting job and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Also, they don't really hire new people.
The most time you want to spend at Geico is 3 years. After that if you're not a supervisor or in the mentor program, you've exhausted the useful time to spend there and you should move to another company.
