Former Paraprofessional and Substitute Teacher at Union Public Schools
almost 2 years ago
Patience, patience, a love for educating students, an awareness of classroom management skills, good communication skills, and good social skills. Is important for the paraprofessional or substitute to remember that they are there to educate and guide the students, not to be their friend necessarily. Is important also that they remember that they're there to support the Lead Teacher and the administration at each School site.
