Having multiple job positions or study+assistant job,it requires good amount of time management skill. And if you don't have you will learn that. If you don't manage it well generally you will do bad on any one part so you have to be prepared for that.
You should expect meetings with professor which can be daily or weekly, it generally depends on professor.
You have to do some amount of literature review daily.
You have to prepare for upcoming presentation which will be there weekly.
If you are in later part of your research then you will be implementing some of the already published paper solutions and trying to find caveats in it.
