If by training program, you mean the IS&T Intern Development Program (which is a verrrrry small subset of Apple’s intern community), it’s pretty hard to answer this question. I had a pretty rare situation as an intern, so I don’t think my experience would be very indicative of what a “typical" design internship at Apple is. I was 1 of 3 UX interns in a very technically focused department, but was the only UX intern to be placed on a non-UX team. I had the ability to design my own internship and project in a way that others didn’t have control over. Feel free to reach out individually and I can try to answer more specific questions.
