I think for any role at Cisco, your qualifications for the job are the bare minimum for an interview. Your character and personality are going to be the deciding factor in whether or not the hiring manager thinks you’re a good fit! Cisco loves hiring people who will bring light to a team and who are still creative in tough times. It’s easy to find someone who can fit the qualifications of a position, but it isn’t easy to find someone who’s willing to work in a team!
For a Hardware Engineer, I would recommend:
i> Just be through with the EE fundamentals.
ii> You should know each and every single thing you have written in your resume.
iii> Tell the interviewer about your likes and dislikes and justify him why you want to be a Hardware Engineer.
iv> If you don't know the answer to any question, just accept it and say "I don't know the concept/answer but I think I can do it". Don't try to misguide the interviewer.
