Former Admissions Counselor Assistant at Point Loma Nazarene University

So much fun! But the days changed from month to month because the job tasks were seasonal, which I really enjoyed. The beginning of the fall semester was a lot of data entry and signing up to run a booth at college fairs (which was my favorite part of the job)! Towards November and December the team is gearing up for early acceptance, and so it's a lot of folding letters, stuffing envelopes, and prepping acceptance packets! In the spring, the job is a lot more focused on preview events and calls. There's a nice year-round rhythm of the jobs you get to work on as an ACA! Regardless of what season admissions was in, though, the work felt manageable and fun! I was never stressed, you get to choose your hours, and sometimes if the work was mindless you could listen to music while working which was fun!
