Former Admissions Counselor Assistant at Point Loma Nazarene University
about 2 years ago
I think when I first started preparing for my interview, I felt like I needed to review everything about the school that I was told years ago by admissions counselors: statistics of financial aid, how we rank with other private Christian schools, areas of study we offer, etc. But really, the most helpful thing was to know why I wanted to work in admissions. What about my experience at PLNU created a desire in me to help get other students in the doors of this institution to be shaped and educated by this community. That's probably the most honest and helpful thing you could know/be able to speak to when interviewing for any position at admissions!
