Hi, that is a great question! Whenever you are preparing for an interview with a research lab, it is important to read the principal investigatior’s current project and prior publications. Be prepared to talk about what interests you: why this lab, and what do you hope to gain out of it? Perhaps, there were prior experiences or classes that inspired you to learn more about research outside of the classroom setting. If so, share your narrative with your interviewer!
The career center also provides helpful videos on interviewing do’s and don’ts, which I highly recommend.
