Former Control Systems Engineer at Ford Motor Company
over 3 years ago
A control systems engineer has its pros and cons, just like any other roles. We build virtual models and test it against algorithms that will be used in 2-3 years to make sure it's robust. So we ensure the software quality of the brain of the car. Everyday we build the models closer and closer to a real vehicle and it's pretty exciting. The con is less hands-on experience like a calibration specialists, i.e. time in the real vehicle.
