I would say working hard and smart along with a good team work is very important. Coming up with innovative ideas to help the organization as a whole would also tremendously help your career, there are several hackathons and contests that take place throughout the year and this gives you an opportunity to standout.

There are many things that can help you succeed at Accenture and at almost any other internship. Some of the main things that I found to help me succeed would be open communication with my supervisor, always arriving on time and taking responsibility over the work that I complete. When interning at Accenture the projects that you may be put on can be a lot to take in when starting, but by having open communication with your supervisor it makes it more comfortable to ask questions. Also, by arriving on time to meetings and “looking the part,” of an analyst really helps to showcase how serious and committed I am about interning here. Something that would also be helpful for your team is being willing to set up the meetings for everyone. I found that by volunteering to do that I took some stress off my supervisor’s shoulders and got to know people better as I tried to find times that worked for everyone. Lastly, taking responsibility for my work is one of the major pieces of succeeding at Accenture. This involves always double checking my work, making sure to save and send my excel files correctly and always making sure to complete my tasks on time. People are not going to look over your shoulder to make sure you are doing the work the way they want you to. It is part of the experience where you learn how to interpret a given task, figure out a way to organize the information and then making sure you did everything that they have asked you to do. One way to help with this is to make sure you get specific criteria on what you are supposed to do.

Contributing in different areas of the job will help you climb the ladder quickly. Don’t just participate in development, help in testing, participate in training others, organize team events and bring positive changes in the team. Make a strong network with superiors from different teams, helps during annual performance calculation.

Accenture is a great multi-national company. To be successful in it, have interest in what you're doing and your team would support you by all means. Whenever possible, do you your own R&D to figure things out and the team will appreciate the effort you put in.
