Former Government and Capital Property Specialist at Boeing
about 2 years ago
The compensation will vary based my your location and experience. Government Property has different tiers that are not easy to obtain. If you are willing to relocate for your career then this would be a good path. I'm not for sure how much information I can share about this subject, but it provided my family a well living in every city that we lived in. Boeing does offer additional incentive packages that I've haven't experience with another companies. Boeing provides one of the top 401K contributions, decent health plans, company performance bonus, a good amount of time holiday/sick and vacation days, education, etc.
I started Boeing as a Mechanic, then a supply chain analyst, next a government property specialist and now a supply chain specialist. Boeing provided plenty of opportunities to advance my career as quickly as I want and experience coast to coast Boeing sites. Now I'm traveling over sea with them. You can use this company as a stepping stone or a long term career. We are still a manufacturer, so be prepared for long hours and relocations.
