In pricing specifically, it is a very repetitive schedule of going through different departments and adjusting prices as needed. It is also common to help with things like replenishment, which is putting away newly arrived merchandise that is already on the floor. You will also be asked to perform additional tasks, like organizing a stockroom, when needed.
My main job in the beginning was to place prices on merchandise, mostly clothing. Soon, I also had to stock shelves and help customers find what they were looking for. Lastly, I had to arrange and/or straighten-up displays so that the store would look neat.
